Our breaks are designed as 2 basic building blocks. You choose
when to take one of our study groups or trips.
 

BLOCK 1

In the History Study Group (mostly two days) you will  learn about or refresh your knowledge and understanding of the general history of the region you are interested in. These sessions are designed to sit separately as  mini educational courses.

Basically, whatever your level of knowledge, you will have the opportunity to be taught, to investigate, to discuss issues arising, to work together and to enjoy the social environment.

Study Groups will be held in a comfortable hotel with leisure facilities, in England, so you can enjoy a refreshing break as well as complete the study aspect.

The individual itineraries show the study group times.

You do not have to complete the travel section immediately after the study group. You can travel at a later date for some tours- (i.e. break the holiday up into two parts), although this would affect the cost of the break overall.

Alternatively, you can complete a study group in England for a weekend or mid week break, without the foreign travel. It is an opportunity for everyone to meet up and enjoy a few fun days of learning and discussion.
 

BLOCK 2

The travel and visits follow on from the History Study Groups.

However, you have the option to do the foreign visit by itself, without the study
element.

All trips will be fully guided with provision of an informative, specially written history pack, containing the general overview of the key aspects of the History of the regions being visited. 

As with the Study Groups, the idea is that group travel can make the whole experience more fascinating as there will be many opportunities for discussion and sharing of discoveries and stories.
